Day 2: Too Faced Perfect Flush Blush

Ulta has done it again. They did Deal Days a few weeks ago for the month of March and I didn't find anything that I felt I couldn't live without until the last three days.

I went in thinking they only had one color of the Two Faced Sweethearts perfect flush blush on their deal of the day. A representative for the Two Faced line greeted me as I stood there looking and told me that all three colors were part of the deal! How ecstatic and at the same time upset was I? HAHA! I chose the one color the nice rep told me would be most complementary on more fair colored skin.

 Candy Glow:

The color is a very light pink with a shimmer. The shimmer isn't at all over powering and as you can see it comes off very sheer. Once applied it gives a very nice wash of color to the cheeks but is definitely buildable. I thought this color was the best option for me.

I only purchased this one and walked out of the store thinking I did a good job, but after going to my car, swatching the color and seeing it more in depth, I went back in for the other two! I mean after all it was a heck of a deal in my book.

The next color is Peach Beach. It a coral color and comes off more of a peach then pink. I surprisingly find my self reaching for this one more then the other two.

This is also very buildable and with summer right around the corner I think with its the right amount of color on the cheeks for a perfect summer glow with the shimmer.

(I did forget to take a single shot of the box on Peach Beach but below is a photo with all three.)

The last color is Something About Berry. This is a much brighter and deeper pink with a shimmer then the first Candy Glow. While I may not gravitate towards this one as much, once I get a little bit more color on my skin I could see me using it more. I would probably only use this more in the summer months with a tan. It's still very pretty.

I believe I only paid $15 for each versus the original retail of $30. Considering they are a prestige line and Physicians Formula blush runs around that price I thought it was a win. I probably wouldn't have purchased them at the full retail value since I could have found a drugstore brand similar but I don't mind adding them to my collection.
