Day 5: Jimmy Choo Flash Perfume

I'm very picky when it comes to perfumes. I don't like anything super floral or super earthy. This actually surprised me when I smelled it. I was in the middle of Sephora and was waiting for the lady to get me a sample of another perfume I was able to get with my points. Of course I'm in perfume land, and I was noticing how they break the scents down according to how they smell so I don't have to stand there and smell every single one. I'm not really sure what this one said next to it but I do know once I sprayed it I was shocked I actually liked something more on the floral side.

I'm going to put the description that put on the Sephora website cause well I don't think I can explain it any better:

Anticipation. Excitement. The cool rush of power a woman feels when dressed in a pair of sexy shoes. Introducing Flash, the second fragrance from Jimmy Choo.

Evoking a sophisticated, urban woman who is provocative, rebellious, and magnetic, this floral Eau de Parfum is effervescent and sensual. Embodying the thrill of the red carpet and the glamour of dressing up, it's the latest must-have accessory for the Jimmy Choo woman.

Pink pepper, tangerine, and strawberry open the fragrance with a fresh, sparkling introduction. Heart notes of strong, exotic white flowers reveal a sexy character. A base of white powdery woods leaves a lasting impression, both seductive and modern.

Notes:
Pink Pepper, Tangerine, Strawberry, Exotic White Flowers, White Powdery Woods.
Style:
Sophisticated. Provocative. Magnetic.

Above description was taken from Sephora.com

I do have to say the packing I though was cute and I personally like the little bottle. Its fun!  Next time your in Sephora or Ulta defiantly give this a little sniff and let me know what you think.

Day 4: It Cosmetics Naturally Pretty Palette

First let me start off my say Happy Birthday to my lovely younger sister Melissa! Happy 24th! Whoa times flies!! Anyways I want to just explain this palette that I got her for her birthday. Since we both are avid watchers of MakeupbyTiffanyD's YouTube channel we both have seen this very recent palette she has been talking about. It's called the It Cosmetics Naturally Pretty Matte Luxe Transforming Eye Shadow Palette. DANG! That is a mouth full!

This palette has 14 matte colors with a transforming pearl shade you can apply to the top of any color to make it non matte. The palette says it was luxe anti-aging silk infused eye shadows. I don't know if from using this palette your eyelids are going to be anti-aging but okay. These are most definitely pretty colors and has a really good variety of colors to help achieve any natural looking you attempting to do. The online description does say Volume 1 so that leads me to believe that this may be similar to the Naked palette by Urban Decay. I LOVE me some Urban Decay! But this is a fairly new brand to me, since our Ulta's just seem to have a limited selection of items by It.

Day 3: Coach

So recently I took my Coach purse back to a Coach store because the leather on the handles was cracking and peeling. It was a older style diaper bag/multifunctional tote. I spent $20 for shipping there and back, and the lady also said that if they can't fix the bag they will send me a gift card. Of course I didn't like that at all but I went ahead and sent it anyways.

Its been about 3 weeks since I have sent it and finally got a letter in the mail from Coach telling me they couldn't repair my bag. I was so upset, mostly because I really did love that bag so much. It had so many pockets and it was just my everyday go to bag. Well, the only upside to all of this was I did purchase this bag from an Outlet store and spent right around $140 total on it. When I opened the letter it said they couldn't fix my bag and had sent me a gift card to purchase a new purse of my choice, the gift card was for $250! That was a shocking surprise!! I knew I could spend that in no time! HAHA!

The next morning I woke up and drove to the outlet to see what I could find. The past few days were a little rough at work so I thought a little retail therapy couldn't hurt. I did find a new style diaper bag/multifunctional tote. Not exactly what I wanted but let me just say that I got it anyways because they really hold a lot and can also turn into great travel bag or carry on. I walked around the store for prob about an hour and finally settled on another bag that was similar to my older bag I sent in.

Now here is what I really couldn't believe. I've NEVER had an issue spending money in this place. I somehow always spend more then I intend. When I walked in the door, a "door greeter" I guess you could call her handed me a 50% off the entire store (except jackets and something else). Plus I recently received a mailer postcard for different amount of discounts based on what you spent. This is what happened at the register, I brought up the baby bag and it was listed at $228, 50% off made it $171, then because I spend enough to get another 25% off it made the bag a grand total of $85.50! HOLY CRAP!! Wait there is more!!!! Like I said I got another purse! Okay, so this one is what they call a printed canvas with the classic C, its a tote style so it also is a larger bag. This bag was $226.80, 50% off made it $113.40 and then with another 25% off it brought it down to $85.05! Seriously!! I was on a roll!! To get that extra 25% off I had to spend $250, which luckily was the amount of my gift card so I didn't mind this at all. Well I just started getting other things like cloth cleaner, leather cleaner, leather moisturizer and a cute little key chain. Well in all I made out like a bandit and still have around $50 left on the gift card. The lady then handed me back the mailer I got and said it could be used again until it expires! BONUS! This would be why I buy Coach now. I used to think it was just because of the name brand that you bought these purses or products. But I'm sure just like many other high end brands they so stand behind what they sell and really do strive to ensure their customers are buying the best. I will always purse coach purses because they handle the situation great (oh and by the way, they did say if I wanted my bag back I could get it instead of keeping the card).

Here is my coach haul:

Day 2: Too Faced Perfect Flush Blush

Ulta has done it again. They did Deal Days a few weeks ago for the month of March and I didn't find anything that I felt I couldn't live without until the last three days.

I went in thinking they only had one color of the Two Faced Sweethearts perfect flush blush on their deal of the day. A representative for the Two Faced line greeted me as I stood there looking and told me that all three colors were part of the deal! How ecstatic and at the same time upset was I? HAHA! I chose the one color the nice rep told me would be most complementary on more fair colored skin.

 Candy Glow:

The color is a very light pink with a shimmer. The shimmer isn't at all over powering and as you can see it comes off very sheer. Once applied it gives a very nice wash of color to the cheeks but is definitely buildable. I thought this color was the best option for me.

I only purchased this one and walked out of the store thinking I did a good job, but after going to my car, swatching the color and seeing it more in depth, I went back in for the other two! I mean after all it was a heck of a deal in my book.

The next color is Peach Beach. It a coral color and comes off more of a peach then pink. I surprisingly find my self reaching for this one more then the other two.

This is also very buildable and with summer right around the corner I think with its the right amount of color on the cheeks for a perfect summer glow with the shimmer.

(I did forget to take a single shot of the box on Peach Beach but below is a photo with all three.)

The last color is Something About Berry. This is a much brighter and deeper pink with a shimmer then the first Candy Glow. While I may not gravitate towards this one as much, once I get a little bit more color on my skin I could see me using it more. I would probably only use this more in the summer months with a tan. It's still very pretty.

I believe I only paid $15 for each versus the original retail of $30. Considering they are a prestige line and Physicians Formula blush runs around that price I thought it was a win. I probably wouldn't have purchased them at the full retail value since I could have found a drugstore brand similar but I don't mind adding them to my collection.

Day 1: Hautelook exclusive Lorac Cool and Warm Palette's

Recently I've got a little bat shit crazy with my makeup purchases. A few weeks ago I purchased two exclusive Lorac palettes from Hautelook. I should damn that site because it always sucks me in. Anyways, I purchased the Lorac: Stay Cool

The colors don't have any names so I can't help besides describe them by their color. The white, silver, turquoise, and brown are all shimmer and the black is a matte. The colors have a decent pay off (excuse my extreme paleness). The brownish color, second from the right is a bit chunky when using a brush. They're all velvety feeling and apply easily. I guess for $12, I can't really complain.

The second is the Lorac: Get Hot

Again the colors do not have names. The white, middle brown and dark brown are all matte and the salmon and gold are shimmer. The payoff is the same as the cool palette and the darker brown on this is much lighter then I expected. These are all velvety feeling and easily applied. I would say the dark brown is probably a color that would need to be built up to get to its more true color. This palette was also $12.
